We have officially moved to Ankeny, Iowa. As we have been getting settled into our new home, we have already begun meeting people and families in the neighborhood. Our family has also been battling sickness since moving, so please be praying for the health of our kids and our family as a whole! We were supposed to visit another church plant Sunday, but sickness kept us from making that connection.
This week, we are traveling about 26 HOURS in the mini van with 5 young kids. Keep praying for us!! Ha. First, we are going to Oklahoma City where we will be meeting with several pastors and leaders who are partnering with us as we hope to grow the partnerships and funding that is needed for a big launch. We will then be traveling to my parents church in Broken Bow, Nebraska, where I will be giving a message this coming Sunday.
Broken Bow Assembly has been so instrumental in my life, and we are greatly honored to be able to bring God’s Word to that church, although I have a feeling they will bless us more than we are able to be a blessing because that is who they are.
Emjay is starting school back up next week. Ava, Rainn & Arley have been loving riding their scooters and rollerblades down the sidewalks. Jozie is still getting adjusted but is becoming a pro going up and down stairs. Kayla and I have been working non stop to get unpacked before this big trip, but will have to finish when we return.
Proverbs 16:9 (NLT) says “We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps.” We are praying this scripture over our life and yours today! Whatever plans we make, Lord, help us step in the right direction, to the right conversations, and right connections! I take comfort in knowing that even if my plans fall short, the Lord is still at work. He’s working not just every mile, or every day, but every STEP!

– 4 more churches this month to partner with us financially.
